This picture was taken during Volunteer Week at work. I headed up the project and had alot of assistance from my sister Marcia. We made cards and "exploding boxes" for 109 children who lived at the Soldiers and Sailors Children's Home. The home was in the process of being closed. We made the cards and the boxes were filled with candy and adhesive was given for them to use the boxes for pictures after the candy was eaten. Most of the employees who helped had never made a card before but they turned out awesome. Many said they would like to make cards at our next card making night. It was an awesome experience.
This card maker likes using stickers for her cards.

Even the inexperienced card maker can make cards like these.

Same paper used for different cards.
An example of a card from the first mailing to Cards for Heroes.

This was our first mailing to the Military. At that time, one of the ladies we work with mailed them directly to her fiance's unit. Since then we have mailed them to Cards For Heroes. My Sister Marcia and I headed up the first cardmaking event.
